How to Apply

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have graduated high school or hold a Graduate Equivalency Diploma. Your application is complete when we have received:

1. Application form, including handwritten essays
2. Written health statement from a physician (provided by AIM)
3. Official transcripts:
   1. High school and most recent education, if any, or
   2. GED and transcript of high school/college courses taken, or
   3. College transcripts if a minimum of Associate’s degree has been earned
4. Two letters of reference – one professional and one personal
5. Current photograph
6. $25 non-refundable application fee

Once your application is complete, an appointment will be scheduled for a personal interview and the administration of the Career Program Skills Assessment Test (CPAt). The Director and/or Dean of Students must approve admission to the program. You are considered enrolled once we have a deposit of 20% of tuition, textbook payment, (or documentation of approved student loan funding), signed enrollment agreement and other documents.

Once a student is admitted, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis guaranteed by a tuition deposit of 20% of total tuition plus payment of the books & materials fee. Enrollment will continue until classes are full or the second week of a course has taken place, whichever comes first. Students who are accepted for enrollment after a course or program is filled will be placed on a waiting list for the desired session and will be given preferential listing for subsequent sessions. The Director or Dean of Students will consider late enrollment on an individual basis. Late enrollments will be allowed only if it can be determined that the student can make up work in a timely, non-disruptive manner for the current session. Any private tutoring required for make-up will be at the student’s expense.
