Clinic Information

We believe that ultimately, the only way to “learn” massage is to give massage. Therefore, our massage clinics play a vital role in the development of students, newly licensed graduates, and experienced practitioners.

Professional Clinic

We offer some graduates of our program who have proven massage skills an opportunity to work in our Professional Clinic. Our Professional Clinic is on-going, 12-months a year, Monday – Saturday. The Professional Clinic emphasizes relaxation and Swedish massage, although some of our current therapists offer deep tissue, aromatherapy, and other modalities. Our Professional Clinic is affordable – massages sessions are $50/hr or $70 for 11⁄2 hours. We also offer packages for clients desiring on-going therapy – 3 hours (three 1-hr sessions or two 11⁄2 hour sessions) for $135 or 5 hours for $210, and 10 hours for $400. These packages must be used by one individual; they are not transferable. Please call our office at 482-5134 to make an appointment.

Student Clinic

An essential element of our massage therapy training is our Student Clinic. Student Clinic is where “the rubber hits the road” for our students – it is an integration of their academic, human science knowledge, their clinical assessment abilities, their burgeoning massage skills, and the relational skills that pull them all together. We have special clinics for healthy, active seniors (55+) and clinics open to all ages. Our Student Clinic occurs in November and December, and then again in the spring, generally April or May through June. Massage appointments are $20 for seniors/students and $30 for the general public for a one-hour appointment. All sessions are scheduled in advance and appointments are limited.
